Basic Details
The GL952KU is designed for Ku-Band RF over Fiber uplink transmission between antennas and control rooms or NOCs. The Sat-Light IFLs function as a transparent link, transmitting all satellite modulation formats and carrying an entire polarization on each link. It consists of an optical transmitter that receives the RF signal and transmits it over single-mode fiber to an optical receiver, where the optical signal is reconverted to RF. Advanced fiber-optic technology helps maintain low attenuation, slope, phase shift, and group delay over distance, while high-performance lasers support reliable signal quality. The EAM monolithic design, compared with connectorized component electro-optics, assures high performance and excellent reliability.
