The GL7330 is a high-performance, cost-effective Rf over fiber optical link. The link consists of a high input power optical transmitter that receives the RF signal from an IF modem and an optical receiver that connects to the antenna BUC. It accommodates all satellite modulation schemes, including digital and analog formats, while direct modulation of the laser diode helps maintain low phase performance. High dynamic range DFB laser technology supports signal quality for demanding satellite uplink and downlink requirements, and the system is compatible with the first-generation Sat-Light 7000 Series platform.
