Basic Details

The GL952CU is designed for C-Band interfacility uplink transmission between antennas and control rooms or NOCs. The system consists of an optical transmitter that receives the RF signal and an optical receiver that reconverts the optical signal back to RF, supporting full transparency across satellite modulation formats. By replacing conventional coaxial-cabled systems, it reduces the need for waveguide and minimizes signal attenuation over distance. Advanced fiber optic technology helps maintain low attenuation, slope, phase shift, and group delay, while high-performance lasers support reliable long-distance transmission. The EAM monolithic design supports consistent performance and reliability, while integrated test ports, gain control, and status indicators assist in system operation and monitoring.
