Basic Details

The GL952CD is designed for C-Band interfacility downlink transmission between antennas and control rooms or NOCs. The system consists of an optical transmitter that receives the RF signal from an LNB or LNA and an optical receiver that connects to indoor receiver equipment. It accommodates all satellite modulation schemes, including digital and analog formats, while direct modulation of the laser diode helps maintain low phase performance. Advanced fiber optic technology supports reduced attenuation, slope, phase shift, and group delay over distance, while high-performance lasers support reliable signal quality. The EAM monolithic design supports consistent performance and reliability, while integrated test ports, gain control, and status indicators assist in system operation and monitoring.
