Global Foxcom’s 2052 Apogee SNMP Management System provides remote management and monitoring for Sat-Light fiber optic modules, redundancy switches, and power supplies. Built on a rack-mounted module with an integrated graphical SNMP manager, it supports web and MIB browser access for managing RF over Fiber system performance.

Basic Details

Global Foxcom’s Apogee GUI enables users to view the status of modules installed on the 3U shelf, including link operations. Alarms support RF and optical faults for transmitters and receivers, while monitoring features include power supply status, ambient temperature, and RF/optical input and output power. The shelf-mount card includes an RS-232 port for initialization and security settings, and the front-panel Ethernet port connects to the user’s LAN. For easier management of multiple chassis on non-Java-equipped Windows machines, Global Foxcom provides a free Device Viewer Application. Apogee’s open MIB architecture also supports management through the built-in GUI or third-party systems such as HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, and CA Unicenter.
