VSAT Inline Amplifier—L-Band & 10 MHz
Global Foxcom’s VSAT Inline Amplifier amplifies L-Band communication and 10 MHz reference signals between a satellite modem and Block-Up Converter (BUC). It compensates for signal attenuation caused by long coaxial cable runs in VSAT installations.
Features & Benefits
- Supports L-Band frequency range of 950–2150 MHz
- Independent L-Band and 10 MHz gain adjustment from 0–15 dB
- Internal DIP-switch gain control with 1 dB adjustment steps
- Separate amplification paths to reduce cross modulation between signals
- Noise figure below 5 dB
- P1dB greater than 15 dBm for L-Band and 10 MHz
- SMA 50Ω RF connectors
- 12–24VDC operating voltage
- Maximum current consumption of 150 mA
- DC pass capability up to 2A / 24V
- Compact enclosure measuring 115 × 67 × 26 mm
- Lightweight design with 250 g weight
- Standard 5-year warranty
The VSAT Inline Amplifier uses separate amplification paths for L-Band and 10 MHz signals, reducing interaction between the two signal paths. Gain for each path can be adjusted independently from 0 to 15 dB in 1 dB steps. The unit operates from 12–24 VDC and supports different powering configurations. Selected models also support DC pass-through up to 2 A / 24 V, allowing flexible integration into VSAT RF installations.
