Basic Details
Global Foxcom’s GL7840 HF/VHF/UHF Optical Link is designed to support a wide range of RF power levels across radio and TV transmission environments. The system uses an optical transmitter to convert RF signals from an off-air antenna or modulator into light, while the optical receiver reconverts the optical signal back to RF. Direct laser modulation helps achieve low phase performance, while the Gold Series platform supports configurations including L-Band, 70/140 MHz IF, Wideband, 10 MHz Reference, redundancy, M&C, SNMP, Ethernet, and serial data communication.
