Foxcom supplies a choice of accessories for the Sat-Light product line. Together with the fiber optic IFLs, they provide a complete Interfacility Link. All units are modular and allow for flexible system expansion.
2040 1:1 Redundant Switch
The 2040 switch provides 1:1 redundant switching for Sat-Light Interfacilty Link products. The 2040 Switches' many features include automatic or manual operation, local or remote operation, rapid switching, and adjustable signal level detection. Locking switch preserves signal integrity. SNMP control available.
2100 Amplifier
The Model 2100 is a 75 Ohm 32 dB amplifier with a high first order intercept point and a high power output at the 1dB compression point. The Model 2100 covers the whole Sat-Light RF frequency range from 10 to 2200 MHz.
Model 7050 Fiberoptic Data Transceiver
Foxcom's Model 7050 is a complete duplex fiber optic link for serial data transmission. The Model 7050 Fiberoptic Data Transceiver provides the capability to Monitor and Control (M&C) on-site communication equipment such as testing and measuring equipment, redundancy switches, antenna pedestals, broadcast equipment, etc.
Chassis and Power Supplies
Foxcom provides both chassis and standalone power supplies to be used with its Satcom fiberoptic Interfacility Links (IFL). Chassis are available in either a 6-slot version or an 8-slot version. Both incorporate "hot swap" capability and simplicity of use. Both chassis use highly reliable power supply designs. The Model 7100M uses the Model 7000S linear supply while the Model 7180M uses the 7001P switching supply.
RF Splitters
Foxcom's Sat-Light RF SPlitters enable the splitting of RF signals. Splitters are available in a variety of frequency ranges, making them usable with IF or L-band products. In addition a Full Band option is available.
2020/2021 10/100 Base Ethernet Module
Foxcom's 10/100 base Ethernet module brings fast Ethernet capability to the Foxcom Sat-Light systems. Using only one single-mode optical fiber, the unit transmits either 10Base or 100Base data over distances up to 25 kilometers. Model 2020 transmits at 1310 nm and Model 2021 transmits at 1510 nm.
This easy to install, plug-and-play media converter set complies with IEEE802.3 standards and supports full-duplex and half-duplex communications with auto negotiation on both the fiber and twisted pair media. An RJ-45 interfaces to the twisted pair, while a single SC type connector interfaces to the optical fiber path. The 2020 set also supports MDI/MDI-X auto crossover, eliminating the need for elusive crossover cables.
